About Donating to Cajun Clickers

The Cajun Clickers Computer Club (CCCC) is a 501-C3 non-profit organization which means that when you donate items to us, you can write your donation off your taxes. The CCCC welcomes your donations but due to limited human resources we have changed our minimum standards for computer donations.

The technical committee has raised the minimum donation standards so that we receive only equipment which we can use. The new standards are posted on our main website at www.clickers.org so please check before bringing in your old computer.

The basics are:

  • We will accept equipment that is working, but can’t take broken items
  • Printers must have all connector and power cables/adapters
  • Computers should be at least 550 Mhz CPU speed (Pentium or better)

If you have more than one computer to donate, please contact our technical director, Mark Lappin to see if we can use the equipment. If you have non working equipment or equipment that does not meet our minimum standards please contact the Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council at: 225-379-3577.

We accept more than just equipment, if you would like to make monetary donations to the club please contact our board of directors for more information by e-mailing cajun.clickers@clickers.org.

Your donations of equipment, software, or other items are used to not only benefit the community but also to improve member services. Remember - Your donations are tax deductible!
